Nativz Gaming is thrilled to unveil the Nativz Academy Counter-Strike 2 Team, marking a pivotal milestone in our mission to nurture the next generation of esports talent. This team brings together exceptional players who have honed their skills in our Ireland Esports Collegiate Series, the only esports series specifically for third level Irish students.
Ireland Collegiate has been the proving ground for up and coming talent across titles such as Valorant, Rocket League, Teamfight Tactics (TFT), Counter-Strike 2, League of Legends, F1 24, and EAFC 25. Now, with the launch of the Nativz Academy, we are taking the next step in our commitment to cultivating Irish esports excellence by providing these players with the resources, coaching, and competitive environment they need to develop and thrive.
Meet the Nativz Academy CS2 Team
This formidable squad consists of five core players and one substitute, all of whom are current or former Ireland Collegiate competitors:

These players embody the spirit of the Ireland Collegiate - dedication, teamwork, and an unrelenting drive to compete. Together, they’re set to compete in the ESEA Open, facing off against teams from across Europe in their journey to make a mark on the international esports scene.
The Nativz Academy Vision
The Nativz Academy was born from a desire to bridge the gap between collegiate esports and professional competition. By creating a pathway for standout Ireland Collegiate players to transition into highly competitive environments, we aim to elevate the level of Irish esports and showcase the immense talent this region has to offer.
Through structured training sessions, strategic coaching, and exposure to high-stakes tournaments, the Academy serves as a launchpad for players aspiring to reach the pinnacle of esports performance.
Our next steps towards realising our Nativz Academy mission is the introduction of teams in other titles, namely TFT, Rocket League and Valorant.
